Finally finished Kambree's nursery, it's about dang time!

DATE NIGHT

Alex got Abbey to babysit for us so he could take me out on a date, it was the best! It was so nice to enjoy dinner just the two of us, without being an entertainer the entire meal. I love my Kambree girl but it was nice to go out just the two of us. We went to red lobster and ordered way too much food, then we went to T.J. maxx and did some shopping. It was short and sweet, but it was perfect. We missed Kam, but I think she had more fun playing with Aunt Abbey anyways! 

LUNCH DATE

I had a long lunch break from clinic so I met up with Abbey and Alex for lunch. We had "worlds best corndog" for lunch and pina coladas from waffle love for dessert! It was delicious and so so nice outside. 

AN OUTDOOR CONCERT

Abbey pulled out her violin and the hymn book and played outside on a Sunday afternoon. We brought up a blanket and some toys for Kambree and parked ourselves out on the grass. Neighbors walking by would come and sit with us, and each time someone new came along, Abbey would play their favorite hymn for them. The weather was amazing, and Abbey was incredible! It was the perfect Sunday afternoon concert!

PROVO WEEKEND WITH THE HAFEN FAMILY

Grandma Gates sent us with yummy valentines suckers for entertainment on the way up north, they were yummy, & sooo sticky!!

We had a really great weekend with the Hafen/Esplin family up in Provo. It was a quick trip but we were able to squeeze in a lot of fun things. We drove up Saturday morning and met the family + one of abbey's mission friends + alyssa and clark fredrickson. It was a big group. We went to my favorite place, zupas! After lunch we went and hung out at the hotel and went over to Shirley's across the street for a treat later that afternoon. That night we went to the BYU basketball game, BYU won! It was exciting and Kambree loved it. After the game we went to dinner with the Fred's. It was so so good! We especially liked the mango colada! After dinner we went back to the hotel and crashed, it was a long day! The next morning we got up, had breakfast, and headed home. The trip was short and sweet!

A CHRISTMAS PARTY

We had a really great Christmas party at Brad and Bizzy's house this year! We had fiesta platters from Don Pedro's for dinner, (my favorite!!) followed by a talent show and a nativity. All the kids had a great time showing their talents and they decided Kambree needed one too! She had just recently started sitting up, so she sat for her talent, it was very impressive. We tried to get her to roll, but she just ended up staring at the crowd. She's pretty talented! It was all fun and games when Linc fell forward into a chair and ended up getting a couple stitches in his head, dang it! Good thing he is tough! That night Kambree had a hard time getting to sleep so we went on a pretty long ride, and she still didn't fall asleep. Then we decided we would just sit in the front seats of the car parked in the driveway and hang out. She really thought she was something special getting to sit in the front. Oh i love that girl!
