we be jammin'

On Tuesday morning my mom and I made our raspberry peach, and strawberry jam that better last us for a dang long time! It was a great time, and I was so glad to get to spend some time with my mom, I sure love her lots!

how we celebrated the fourth

This year our fourth of July was very eventful! We started the day off with a little run and when we got back I was exhausted because I am clearly out of shape, so when we got back I was just relaxin' on my bed when Alex pranced in with his computer and plugged in right into the TV for me. He turned bachy on for me, he then continued to make me a lovely breakfast. (I was feeling very spoiled by this point) 

We then went to the lake with some of my cousins where we tubed, talked, and went on a crazy ride.

Then we went to watch my sister Macey play in her soccer game.

 Followed by a BBQ with all the Gates family, and of course sparklers.

 We watched the beautiful St. George fireworks from our own backyard, and this was the only picture I got of them, to bad they look like little ghosts instead of fireworks.

you are my sunshine

Yesterday Alex and I had the chance to head out to the lake with his brother John and his family, and of course Grandpa Hafen! We had such a fun day with these little boys, and we were so glad they let us tag along! I took so many pictures of these adorable little boys, lets just say I hope our babies are half as adorable as our little nephews!

By the end of the day we had some sleepy little boys on our hands, but is was so much fun! Love spending time with them!
