new job!!

Last week we were talking to Alex's parents and his mom mentioned something about Alex going to work for his dad at his accounting firm. Later that evening Alex and I were talking about it and we decided to text her and see if she had just said that or if she was being serious about it. She never replied and we kind of forgot about it. The next morning Alex got a text from his dad really early in the morning to have him give his dad a call when he got a chance. He called and Alex was offered a job at Adams Hafen and Co. We are both soooo excited. This is just what Alex needs right now... experience!! I convinced Alex to take a first day of work picture, I am just really excited for him, it's kind of a big deal! I love my accountant:)

Last Saturday Alex showed up at Freddy's with these little baby clothes and a big smile on his face. He is obsessed you guys and I am loving it. He was so proud of himself for picking everything out all by himself. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger and she isn't even here yet. We can't wait to meet you Kambree!

26 weeks!

How far along: 26 Weeks

Gender: Girl

Weight gain: No idea.

Maternity clothes: I wear the few maternity clothes I have, but I do wear lots of sweats and leggings.

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: I sleep good once I can get to sleep, I am always tired, but getting comfortable is getting a whole lot harder.

Best moment this week: Finally being able to say three months to go! :)

Worst moment this week: I have just been frustrated lately with how achy my body is. I can't sit in the same position for more than ten minutes and my feet are always hurting! I just want to be comfortable for ten minutes that's all i ask!

Miss anything: Being able to move my body!! 

Movement: My heavens this girl is a mover! She literally kept me up ALL NIGHT a few nights ago. Everytime I was close to falling asleep she would kick or turn again. I am convinced her hair is red.

Cravings: Nothing really! Just happy with anything.

Queasy or sick: Feeling good!

Looking forward to: Getting her here! I am so excited to meet her and I am really excited to be pain free. My body has been hurting non-stop and I just want to feel okay again!

spring break 2014

We decided really last minute to head down to vegas for a few days and just relax! We stayed at the cancun resort. We have never stayed their and it was such a fun place! Ryker loved the water slides and hot tubs and Alex was such a good sport to hang out with him. We did nothing but lay out and shop. I looked dang good in a swimsuit in case you were wondering;) I was really embarrassed actually and we saw a few people we knew... It was a much needed break for Al & I life has been so busy and it was so nice to spend time together without worrying about work or school or anything else. I sure love him. Monday was Sadie's Birthday and we wanted to go somewhere fun and new for her birthday dinner. Who knew that every fun and new place we thought of was closed on Monday nights. We went to soo many different places, we were all being so dramatic about being really hungry and it made for a really funny night actually. We ended up at CPK maybe five minutes before they closed and we were in an out of there in fifteen minutes. It was such a fun and relaxing trip, just what we needed! Thanks for the fun getaway!

25 weeks!

How far along: 25 Weeks

Gender: Girl

Weight gain: No idea. I need a scale ha, or maybe it's better i don't know.

Maternity clothes: The time has come. I bought two shirts and a dress & i'm obsessed they are soo comfy. I wear them way more than is probably acceptable.

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: Sleeping great! 

Best moment this week: I really love feeling her move and wiggle around. It seems like she is always busy doing something.

Miss anything: Diet Coke.

Movement: Always moving!

Cravings: Just fruit water, I forgot how yummy that is!

Queasy or sick: Nope!

Looking forward to: Getting this little girl here already! We still have a while and we don't want her to come this early but we can't wait to meet her!

24 weeks!

How far along: 24 Weeks

Gender: Girl

Weight gain: I honestly have no idea

Maternity clothes: You could say I am avoiding maternity clothes, but i don't know how much longer that will last.

Belly button in or out: In

Sleep: I have been sleeping sooo good, i love it!

Best moment this week: I was working at Freddy's and a polygamist girl came up to get a wash. She said, "How's the girl with the sexy baby bump?" I didn't even know what to say ha I couldn't believe that came out of her mouth, it was hilarious.

Miss anything: Being able to move! I feel so limited these days, my belly is getting big and I still have quite a ways to go!

Movement: Lots of movement all over. This little one is very busy!

Cravings: My little sister got me started on fruit water again. Water + strawberries + Dasani coconut pineapple flavoring. My favorite:)

Queasy or sick: I finally got medicine for Acid Reflux and life is so good! I am so grateful for medicine, acid reflux is no fun at all.

Looking forward to: Working on baby bedding, I finally bought fabric!

23 weeks!

How far along: 23 Weeks

Gender: Girl

Weight gain: According to my doctor i've only gained six pounds ha but i haven't been keeping track very well!

Maternity clothes: No, just sweats and leggings but my scrubs are getting real tight!!

Sleep: Good

Best moment this week: One morning I woke up to four really big kicks, I loved that!

Worst moment this week: I went to the pharmacy to get medicine for Acid Reflux and a lady in line heard the pharmacist say the last thing i picked up from there was my pre-natal vitamins... then she totally chewed me out and said my child was going to have major birth defects! Since when are vitamins bad for babies?!

Movement: Tons of movement, i'm loving it.

Cravings: i love donuts, but i think i just love them always? I don't know if i really crave things, I feel like that could be a made up thing so women can eat whatever they want while pregnant? ha

Queasy or sick: Feeling good!

Looking forward to: Lots more movement and spring break!!
